1. Operator and acceptance

The 3dview.ai website and the 3DView.ai services (together, the “Service”) are operated by:

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to the website, account creation, credit purchases and use of the Service. By creating an account (including via “Continue with Google”) or buying credits you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy (/privacy) and the Cookie Policy (/cookies). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You can contact us at any time at [email protected].

2. Definitions

• User: anyone who accesses the website or holds an account.
• Consumer: a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession (Romanian GEO 34/2014).
• Business user: a user who uses the Service for their business or professional activity.
• Credits: account units with no monetary value used within the Service to pay for models (AI generations and scans), removing the 3DView logo from a model and activating shop models.
• Uploaded content: the images, texts (prompts) and any other material you submit to the Service.
• Generated content: the 3D models, images, previews and other results produced by AI systems based on the Uploaded content.

3. The Service

3DView.ai is an online service, supplied at a distance, that uses artificial intelligence (AI) systems to generate 3D models. It currently includes:

• generating 3D models from a single image (image-to-3D);
• generating 3D models from a text description (text-to-3D), in which case an image is generated first and then the 3D model;
• scanning a product with your phone: the uploaded photos or video are turned into a 3D model by 3D processing;
• viewing models in the browser and downloading them (GLB, USDZ, OBJ), included in the price of the model;
• hosting models with a public WebAR link / QR code / embed code, included (see section 11);
• the model library: downloadable models from Sketchfab, only with licences that allow commercial use, added to your account with credits;
• programmatic access (API) for accounts that have bought at least one credit pack;
• generation and transaction history, invoices and ticket-based support.

Generation is performed through third-party AI infrastructure providers (currently Replicate, Inc.), which process Uploaded content on our behalf. Features, AI models and credit costs may evolve; the version in force is the one shown in the Service at the time of use.

4. Your account

• You need an account to generate models or buy credits. You can register with an email address (which you must confirm) or with your Google account.
• The Service is intended for people aged 18 or over. People aged 16–18 may use it only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian; people under 16 may not create an account. Purchases by a minor may only be made by, or with the consent of, their legal representative.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your data, for keeping your password and API key confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly obtain the free welcome model or the Test pack offer is not allowed.
• You may ask us to close your account at any time by email. Credits remaining when the account is closed at your request are not refunded, except where the law or these Terms provide otherwise.

5. Credits, prices and payment

Payment model. The Service runs on prepaid credits, bought in packs with a one-time payment. There is no subscription and we never charge your card on a recurring basis.

• New-account gift: once its email address is confirmed (or on Google sign-up), a new account gets 10 free credits (at the date of this version, enough for one AI model), once per account. Free credits have no monetary value and are not refundable.
• Costs: at the date of this version, any AI model (from text or one photo) costs 10 credits, a phone scan 50 credits, and removing the "Made with 3DView" logo from a model 30 credits (once, permanently for that model). The credit cost of each operation is shown in the Service before you confirm it.
• Included: downloading the model files (GLB, USDZ, OBJ) with a commercial licence and hosting (viewer, embed, AR) are included; they are not charged separately and there is no subscription.
• Credit packs: Test – 80 credits, Standard – 250 credits, Pro – 750 credits. The price of each pack is the one shown on the Pricing page and on the payment page at the time of the order; the price is set by our server, not by the page in your browser.
• Test pack offer: during the first 48 hours after the account is created, the Test pack has a reduced price (at the date of this version $3 instead of $7), once per account and once per card. If you buy nothing in that period, 7 days after the account was created you get, once, one more 24-hour window at the same reduced price. The deadline shown in your account is real, computed on our server, and never resets. Outside these windows, or once the offer has been used, the Test pack costs the regular price (at the date of this version $7) and can be bought any number of times.
• Card already used for the offer: if the Test pack at the reduced price is paid with a card that has already obtained the offer (on any account), or by an account that has already obtained it, the payment is automatically refunded in full, no credits are added and we tell you by email. You can then buy the Test pack at the regular price or the Standard / Pro packs.
• Validity: credits never expire. Credits have no monetary value, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money, except for refunds provided by law or these Terms.
• Failed generations: if a generation or a scan fails because of a technical error (ours or a provider’s), the credits (or the free text model) are automatically returned to your account. Credits are not returned for completed results that do not meet your aesthetic expectations or intended interpretation (see section 9).

Final price; the supplier is not VAT-registered. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and are final prices. The supplier is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is included or added. Any currency conversion fees charged by your bank are not ours.

Payment. Payment is made online by card through the payment processor Stripe, on its secure page. We do not store your card details. You enter your billing details (name, address and, for companies, tax ID) on the Stripe payment page.

Invoicing. For each payment we issue an invoice through the Oblio invoicing platform, sent by email and available in your account. The invoice is reported to the Romanian RO e-Factura system as required by law. It is issued by a supplier not registered for VAT and shows the total amount you paid.

Conclusion of the contract and delivery. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment; credits are added to your account immediately afterwards. The order confirmation and the invoice are sent to you by email.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a rule, a consumer may withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 14 days of its conclusion (art. 9 of Romanian GEO 34/2014).

Credits are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, i.e. access to a digital service, supplied immediately after payment. Before payment we ask you, through a mandatory checkbox, to expressly request immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun. Under art. 16(m) GEO 34/2014 (digital content whose supply has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement of losing the right of withdrawal) and, for fully performed services, art. 16(a), the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the credits have been added to your account. We keep proof of this consent (date, time and accepted version of the Terms) and confirm it in the order email.

If in a specific case the right of withdrawal has not been lost (e.g. delivery of the credits has not begun), you may withdraw within 14 days by an unequivocal statement sent to [email protected] (you may use the model form in Annex 1 to GEO 34/2014). We will refund the amount paid, using the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving your statement.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to business users.

7. Refunds and conformity

• Double payments, amounts charged in error, repeated payments of the Test pack offer (section 5) or cases where we cannot deliver the purchased credits are refunded in full, through Stripe, to the card used.
• If the Service is not in conformity (e.g. it does not work as described for reasons attributable to us), you have the rights provided by Romanian GEO 141/2021 on contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services: bringing it into conformity, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract, as provided by law.
• If we close your account through no fault of yours or stop providing the Service, we refund the value of purchased and unused credits, pro rata.
• Refund requests go to [email protected], with the account email address and the payment details. We reply within 14 days. When a refund is made, the corresponding credits are removed from the account.

8. Content you upload

• Your rights: you keep all rights to your Uploaded content.
• Your warranties: you represent and warrant that you own the rights to the Uploaded content or hold all necessary licences and consents (including from people shown in images and from owners of trade marks, designs or works reproduced), and that its use in the Service does not break the law or infringe others’ rights. You are liable towards us and third parties for any claim arising from a breach of this warranty.
• Licence to us: you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, strictly to store, reproduce, process and transmit Uploaded content to our AI and infrastructure providers to the extent needed to provide the Service to you, to display it in your account and, if you choose, to publish it through hosting/AR links. The licence ends when the content or the account is deleted, subject to temporary backup copies and legal obligations.
• No training: we do not use Uploaded content to train our own AI models.
• Retention: images uploaded to our servers for generation are deleted automatically after about one hour; generated models and history stay in your account until you delete them or close the account. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

9. AI-generated content

Usage licence. To the extent we hold any rights in Generated content, we grant them to you for personal and commercial use, including in your products, marketing materials, online shops or client projects, including the downloaded files (GLB, USDZ, OBJ).

Models for which you enable hosting are accessible to anyone who has the link, QR code or embed code. Do not publish content through these links that you are not entitled to make public.

10. The model library and Sketchfab models

• Library models belong to their authors and come from Sketchfab. We only offer models with licences that allow commercial use: CC0, CC-BY or CC-BY-SA; models with other licences (non-commercial, no-derivatives, editorial, store licences) or without a known licence are not shown.
• Attribution: the author, licence and source are shown on the model page, in the viewer (embed, AR, shared link, even without the 3DView logo) and in a LICENSE.txt file in the download. For CC-BY and CC-BY-SA you must keep this attribution when you use the model; CC-BY-SA requires adaptations to be shared under the same licence.
• Adding a library model to your account costs 10 credits (at the date of this version); the model then has hosting, AR, the code for your site and download included, like any other model. The credits cover our import, hosting and AR service; it is not an assignment of copyright.
• You are responsible for complying with each model’s licence. We do not guarantee the accuracy of licence information published by third parties.

11. Hosting, AR links and keeping your models

• Hosting and the public WebAR/QR/embed link are included, with no subscription and no monthly fee.
• Accounts with at least one payment: if you have ever bought a credit pack (a completed payment that was not refunded) or received credits from us, the account's models stay online as long as you use them.
• Accounts without any payment: the models of an account that has never paid are deleted 30 days after they were created (the files are removed from storage and the model is shown as deleted). We send you a warning email 5 days before; if you buy any pack in the meantime, the models stay online as long as you use them. For accounts that existed on 6 October 2026, the 30 days run from the date of the switch to the new prices.
• Inactive accounts (any account): a model is deleted if for 12 months (at the date of this version) you have not logged in AND the model has not been shown from our servers (embed, link, AR, viewer). We email you 30 days before; any login or display cancels the deletion and resets the period. Models shown from our servers are not deleted under this rule.
• The 3DView logo: the public viewer (embed, AR page, shared link) shows "Made with 3DView" by default. You can remove it per model for 30 credits (section 5), permanently for that model.
• We recommend downloading and keeping a copy of your models; we are not liable for files deleted under this section or at your request.

12. API

API access is available to accounts that have bought at least one credit pack. The API offers only AI model generation from text or a single photo (10 credits per model, from the same balance, download included); phone scanning is not available through the API. The API key is confidential and equivalent to your password; API operations consume credits just like the web interface. We may rate-limit requests and revoke the key in case of abuse or security risk. The technical documentation (/api-docs) forms part of the API terms of use.

13. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to upload, generate, host or distribute content, or for activities, that:

• are illegal or infringe the rights of others (copyright, trade marks, designs, image rights, privacy, personal data);
• depict or sexualise minors in any form;
• are sexually explicit, non-consensual sexual content or deepfakes of real people without their consent;
• incite hatred, violence, discrimination or terrorism or glorify such acts;
• are intended to manufacture weapons, weapon parts or other dangerous or prohibited items;
• are misleading (e.g. presenting Generated content as a real photograph or product where this may deceive);
• aim to disrupt or circumvent the Service’s technical measures (malware, automated scanning, bulk data extraction, bypassing limits or payment, reverse engineering, reselling access without our consent).

14. Moderation, notices and suspension

• We have no general obligation to monitor content, but our systems or those of our AI providers may automatically refuse to generate certain content, and we may review, disable or delete content that breaks the law or these Terms.
• Anyone can report content they consider illegal (including a hosted model or public link) to [email protected], stating the link, the reason and their contact details. We handle notices diligently and communicate our decision.
• If these Terms are breached we may, proportionately to the seriousness: refuse a generation, remove content, disable public links, revoke the API key, suspend or close the account. We tell you the reasons unless the law prevents us, and you can contest the decision by replying to the email; we will review it and respond.
• Credits spent on prohibited content are not returned. If an account is closed for serious or repeated breaches, remaining credits are not refunded, to the extent permitted by law.
• We may pass information to competent authorities where the law requires.

15. Availability and changes to features

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, faults or unavailability of third-party providers (AI, hosting, payments). We may modify, replace or withdraw features and AI models; if a change significantly and negatively affects your access to digital content you have already paid for, we inform you in advance on a durable medium and, as a consumer, you have the rights under art. 21 of GEO 141/2021 (including termination and a pro-rata refund).

16. Liability

• We are liable towards consumers as provided by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or excludes or limits our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: use of Generated content by you or third parties; content uploaded by users; interruptions caused by third-party providers or force majeure; loss of files after hosting expires or after account deletion.
• Towards business users, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid by that user in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the damage and excludes indirect loss, loss of profit or data, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

17. Intellectual property in the platform

The website, application, source code, design, texts, the 3DView.ai name and logo belong to the operator or its licensors. You may not copy, modify or use them other than for normal use of the Service without our written consent.

18. Personal data and cookies

We process your personal data according to the Privacy Policy (/privacy) and use cookies and similar technologies according to the Cookie Policy (/cookies).

19. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms, for example when the Service, prices or the law change. The version and effective date are shown at the top of the document. Material changes are communicated by email or in the Service at least 15 days before they take effect; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account. Each purchase remains subject to the version of the Terms accepted at the time of payment.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Please write to us first at [email protected]; we try to settle any complaint amicably within 30 days. Disputes not settled amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Romanian courts; consumers may also bring proceedings before the courts of their domicile, as provided by law.
