3DView.ai is a web platform, founded by Bogdan Dobroiu, for getting 3D models without modeling them by hand. It has three parts: AI generation, a shop of ready-made models, and hosting with AR viewing.
1. AI generation: text or image to 3D
On the create page you describe an object in words or upload a photo or drawing (JPG, PNG or WebP; several photos of the same object also work). The AI builds a textured 3D model, which usually takes a few minutes. You can inspect it in the browser and download it as GLB.
Typical uses: props for games, product mock-ups, furniture and decor for visualizations, illustrations for lessons.
2. A shop of ready-made models
The shop lets you search and buy downloadable models from Sketchfab. A model costs 10 credits and includes hosting with an AR link.
3. Hosting, AR and embedding
A hosted model gets a public link, a QR code and a viewer you can embed in your website. On supported Android phones and iPhones, visitors can place it in their room in AR without installing an app. Hosting is included in the price of the model, with no subscription and no monthly fee.
Pricing
- Any AI model (from text, one photo or several photos): 10 credits. A phone scan: 50 credits.
- Downloads (GLB, USDZ, OBJ, with a commercial license) and hosting are included.
- One-time credit packs, no subscription: Test (80 credits, $7), Standard (250 credits, $19), Pro (750 credits, $49). Credits never expire. The API unlocks after your first pack purchase.
- New verified accounts get one free AI model from text.
The current packs are listed on the Pricing page.
Limits worth knowing
AI-generated models are a fast starting point, not a replacement for a 3D artist on detailed work: fine details, readable text and thin parts can come out wrong, and the meshes are not prepared for animation. For bigger edits, open the GLB in Blender.
