3D model on eMAG Marketplace

In short: you can't add the 3D viewer on eMAG. The description doesn't accept iframes or scripts, and eMAG's rules don't allow links to other sites. Your model still helps, in other ways.

Option 1: Images and video from the model

From the model you create materials that eMAG accepts in the product documentation.

  1. Step 1

    Make a video clip

    In “My models”, on the model, click “Download video”: you get a clip of the product rotating. Use it if your eMAG account has a product video option, and on your social media.

  2. Step 2

    Make images from new angles

    Open the model (“View in AR”), rotate it and take screenshots from the angles missing in your photos (without the logo after “Remove logo”, or crop the corner). Upload them as extra images, following eMAG's image requirements.

Option 2: QR in the parcel and the model on your site

You bring AR to the customer in other ways.

  1. Step 1

    Get the link and QR code

    In “My models”, on the model, click “Share / QR”: copy the model's direct link (it opens 3D and AR on phones) and save the QR code.

  2. Step 2

    QR on the packaging or in the parcel

    Print the QR code on the packaging, the product label or a flyer: the customer scans it and sees the product in AR.

  3. Step 3

    The full model on your own site

    Put the 3DView code on your own store (see the Shopify, WooCommerce and other guides). Don't put the link in the eMAG description: the rules forbid external links.

Common problems and fixes

I put the code in the description and it disappeared

That's normal on eMAG: the description keeps only simple HTML. Use images, video and QR.

Simplified illustrations, not screenshots; menus may look slightly different in your version.

Can I put the model link in the eMAG description?

No: eMAG's rules don't allow links to external sites on the product page. You risk having the offer rejected.

Does the 3D model help if I only sell on eMAG?

Yes: images from any angle, video clips and QR codes for AR, all from a single model.
